A tribute to Anthony Key Tisdale I
Many of you will remember Anthony as the smiling bartender at our player reception’s, others as the ferocious golf competitor on the course. To the Parmakers, he was our brother. Anthony was a very intelligent man and a tireless worker. An example of his work ethic was efforts to keep our old clubhouse air conditioner up and running. He would work 12 hours for TVA, then come from his home in Russellville to Bowling Green to diagnose and repair our issues always without complaint. Anthony was one of our Board Members. His thoughtful and wise counsel is missed.
Anthony participated in baseball and basketball through High School and matriculated to the University of Louisville where he played basketball. After college, he joined the Air National Guard where he served 4 years. He fell in love with golf following college working on his game to get better, if you knew Anthony, you know he was up for a game, the bigger the better.
Anthony worked as general technician for Logan Aluminum and moved on to TVA Paradise and worked as an electrician until his retirement in 2017.
Those of us who knew Anthony knew what he was most proud of was his family. Wife Carman, children Brittany, Amber, Anthony II, and Camron and of course his mother Betty Tisdale and his 5 grandchildren.
We, the Parmakers, wish to salute Anthony for all he did for us as a club member and for always being an uplifting individual.
